Landed cost (model every line)

Unit cost + freight + duties/taxes + clearing + inland + FX buffer. Import duties + sales tax + freight can add 30–60%+ to the factory price. Model this fully in Unit-Economics before pricing. Verify current HS-code duty for textile/apparel imports and any hygiene-product requirements.

First import sizing

  • Small test batch — enough to fulfil expected early orders + a buffer, not a year of stock.
  • Bias toward best-guess winners (Starter Set components, popular sizes M/L, black/nude).
  • Accept higher per-unit cost on a small order to limit risk — scale price down on reorder once validated.

Quality control
